Rent check

Compare what you pay with your neighbours before your next renewal. Entries carry no names, and you see detail only at the level you share.

How privacy works here

Your entry is tied to your code, not to your name. Codes are random, whether they came on a slip or from the join link, so a code doesn’t reveal which flat it belongs to.

Anyone with the join link can get a code, so the figures rely on each flat joining once.

The level of detail you can view depends on the information you choose to share. The server calculates all averages and only displays the information available to you based on what you provide:

  • Rent only: View the building-wide average rent and lowest recorded rent.
  • Rent + Floor: View the average rent for each floor.
  • Rent + Floor + Unit Number: View the average rent for each stack (i.e. units with the same unit number across different floors).

The more information you share, the more detailed the rental insights you can access.

No one’s rent is ever shown against their unit number. With only a few entries, though, an average or the lowest rent can still point to one person.

Whoever runs this site can see the stored entries, including any floor or unit numbers people chose to share, but not names.
